My Best and Worst of 2016

My best and worst of 2016… Well, to be honest, 2016 wasn’t a very thrilling year for me. Yeah, sure I, being the techy nerd that I am, have noticed the very significant improvements in technology (specifically gaming tech). But, this year wasn’t just filled with good things. There were also not so good things, one of which is the difficulty of this school year’s curriculum.

Let me get on with my post, presenting to you, my best and worst of 2016. *sigh*

BEST
This title belongs to my 2016 school year. But wait, don’t leave yet! I promise I’ll try my best to keep you awake. First of all, despite the difficult curriculum I mentioned, I was still able to receive some awards! No, not some. Believe it or not, many! I received honors even better than 1st Honor, therefore proving that I am a consistent achiever. Second, having a decent set of classmates. I actually have a mixed view towards this. I can really say that… Hmm… should I say most or some? Alright, fine. Most of my classmates really have matured… Oh god, just saying it makes me shiver. They’ve matured, right, however, I still can’t avoid hearing multiple “21”s, “deez nuts”, “my name is Jeff”s and, the worst of the lot, “Harambe”s. Am I sounding too edgy? Darn. They also still can’t hold in showing their immaturity by quickly jumping into conclusions and, in the limited time when I heard them fighting, their insults still make me want to choke a puppy. However, on the bright side, most of them also stopped saying forced, old, overused memes, and already think more wisely. After all, at least I have some friends who I can really relate to.

WORST
I was actually able to think of a “worst” first because my 2016 was slightly on the “bad” side. What is this, you may ask? The lack of decent video games. Sure, Dishonored 2 was pretty fun, The Last Guardian made us all weep, and Skyrim’s remaster had fans wanting for more and newcomers like me discovering their new favorite game, but aside from that, what else? Alright, there were more good title releases like these this year, but only a few! The only months that kind of struck me really good were October and November. Video game disasters and disgraces also polluted my year. The remaster of the Assassin’s Creed 2 was more like a demaster, Tom Clancy’s The Division is Satan in video game form, and, the real Jackpot, the Lord of all crap videogames, No Man’s Sky, had us so hyped by false features that when it came out, we converted into atheism. And speaking of hype, 2016, out of all the years I have lived, had so many video game companies lying about features in a game stored in its yearly library. *cough* *cough* Ubisoft and Hello Games *cough* *cough*

So, that’s my Best and Worst of 2016. What’s yours? Welp, time to rest for now. Till next…
