It’s that time of the year again! Temperature’s low, but happiness level is high. Everyone can’t wait for Christmas, everybody’s favorite time of the year. Probably.
However, not everyone’s waiting for Christmas just because of the Christmas trees, the giant red socks, and the LED lights. A lot of people, especially those my age, can’t wait for the month of Christmas because of the video games coming out. December’s offering a fresh and very interesting list for us this year. So, without further ado, let’s get right into it.

1.                 Steep (Dec. 2) (PS4, Xbox One, PC)

Oh God. At first, I really didn’t want to include this in the list, partly because I’m not a big fan of these types of games, but also because of disappointment with Ubisoft, and their recent little downgrades and lies. However, it seems like there’s no other releases that could replace Steep in this list. Hatred aside, let’s go to the positive side of things. In Steep, you can dominate the world’s massive mountains, be it with ski, snowboard, wingsuit, or paraglider. You can do this alone, or maybe with your friends. In Steep, you can do amazing stunts on the snow, stunts that you probably can’t do yourself in real life. This, in my opinion, is a brilliant concept and idea. So let’s pray that Ubisoft won’t fail us this time.

2.                 Deadrising 4 (Dec. 6) (Xbox One, PC)

From the legendary Capcom comes the eighth installment in the outstanding Deadrising series. This is a perfect Christmas gift for all fans of the Deadrising series! This month’s Deadrising features a return to Willamette, where the original game was set. But more importantly, everybody’s favorite, Frank West, is back in the game! Get ready for more wacky, silly, and of course brutal zombie action with Frank West! Interesting things are also bound to happen in this game since it is also set during the Christmas season
.
3.                 The Walking Dead Season 3: A New Frontier (Dec.20) (PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3, 360, iOS, Android)

Whew! Putting the title itself was already a pain. But, disregarding that, I’m sure a lot of you are EXTREMELY excited for this release, including myself! I enjoyed the previous two seasons, and I’m sure the 3rd Season will be just as enjoyable, or, let’s hope, even better than the two seasons. This season features the new boy, Javier, a new playable character, as well as the all-time favorite Clementine, now grown up as a teenager. Exciting things WILL surely happen here.
4.                 The Last Guardian (Dec. 6)(PS4)

I had a hard time deciding if TWD 3 or The Last Guardian should take the last spot. Blood, sweat, and, tears dripped from this dilemma. But, at long last, I concluded that putting The Last Guardian last would mean placing the best for last. From the creators of the game that truly left a mark in our hearts, Shadow of the Colossus, we receive another masterpiece, The Last Guardian. The creators of this game spiced The Last Guardian up with several elements from their previous games, guaranteeing us an amazing playing experience. You play as a young boy, who befriends a giant creature. As you progress into the game, you will develop your relationship with the said creature. The developers really nailed the part in showing players an emotional animal-human relationship. I’m sure that this is a nice game, especially considering that it had 9 years of development, and numerous delays.

There you have it gamers! Get right on it and enjoy the holiday season while you play!
