In the AHS, the fair typically comes in the month of January. However, this is the first time where the AHS has been divided into the AJHS and the ASHS. So, amidst all the changes and reforms, the AJHS and ASHS fair, named Hiraya, will happen in January 27 and 28. With a name that means "reach your dreams", I have a few expectations for this year's fair.
Carnival Rides
Having attended the AGS fair for the past few years, I expect no shortage of fun and exciting rides. I expect classics like the "caterpillar" and the "octopus." Hopefully, there will be a new ride which is thrilling, but no long line.
Food Concessionaires
We all love food. Since most of the audience will be teens, I expect stalls with good food, but reasonable prices. These foods should be preferably easy to eat but should satisfy one's stomach.
Student Booths
"Catchers" and "Marriage Booths" are frequent terms of past Ateneo fairs. So, we also expect these terms to still have a presence in the upcoming AJHS fair. These booths add a little more energy to all the guests, so that they won't get caught and face whatever punishment there is.
Special Events
"Vivir" and "Fuerza" are the special events. With a talent show featuring teachers and students and a pageant featuring aspiring teenage models respectively, I have high expectations for a mainly fun and entertaining presentation.
