Hmmm. This will be a bit difficult, but let's TRY! TRY! TRY! Starting with his Origins.
Origins
Gabriel Reyes. A boy that lived in Los Angeles, joined the US military, and achieved a senior officer position, a veteran status, and everyone gave him as much respect as possible. Soon, he was in the "Soldier Enhancement Program," where he, Jack Morrison, and other soldiers had their speed, agility, and other stats increased.
While many governments have failed to match the Omnic's power in their war, the UN has been making a small group with the best scientists and fighters in the world. Overwatch. And Reyes was there, along with future friend, Jack Morrison. He shaped, the team, into unity, and together, finally ended the Omnic Crisis. Unfortunately, Morrison quickly passed over Reyes, which made him super salty.
Reyes was then placed into Overwatch's Blackwatch division, along with a former member of the Deadlock gang, Jesse McCree. Reyes gave him a simple choice. Either join him, or rot in maximum prison. McCree decided to join him.
Unfortunately, the rift between Morrison and him only worsened. With him leading a rebellion inside Overwatch, he and Morrison ended up destroying Overwatch's headquarters in Switzerland. But Reyes survived. And he wants revenge.
He denied the fact that Morrison was dead, so he decided to finish what started in Switzerland. So Reaper was born. A shadowy ghosts, causing nothing but trouble and chaos for 6 years. Everyone who fought him was either dead, scared, or completely insane. It was also deduced that Reaper's cells were decaying at a hyper-accelarated speed, and he also regenerated it at the same speed.
Soon, he was with Talon. He assembled a small team of soldiers, and together, attacked former Overwatch agent, Winston. The guards held him back, but eventually, Winston took the upper hand. While Reaper was almost finished with what he needed, he joined along, and stopped Winston for a while, until he was stunned by a defective shield generator. Winston nearly got him with his Tesla Cannon, but Reaper turned into mist and fled.
With that over, he teamed up with Widowmaker, and attempted to steal Doomfist's Gauntlet. While Tracer's Chronos Accelerator was charging up, Reaper advanced on Winston, almost getting him. But with a step of his feet onto Winston's glasses, he lashed out, going berserk on Reaper. Widowmaker tried to get the Gauntlet, until she was punched with it by a bystander. The 2 retreated, with Winston and Tracer hot on their trail.
Soon, with Sombra they invaded Volskaya Industries. Reaper and Widowmaker handled the guards, while Sombra chased Katya Volskaya. Reaper attempted to shoot her, but got blocked by an armed guard. After he defeated them all, Sombra reported that Katya had escaped, which put him in a bad mood.
As I end Reaper's backstory, it is now time for his abilities. It's showtime!
Abilities
Reaper has a passive ability know as The Reaping, in where he can heal 20% of the damage he dealt using his Hellfire Shotguns, Death Blossom, or melee.
His primary choice of weaponry are 2 Hellfire Shotguns that deal 2-7 damage with each pellet. A total of 20 pellets are shot in each shot. He reloads by throwing his shotguns on the floor.
His main way of flanking is Shadow-Step. He marks a location up to 35 meters away, and teleports there. Anyone can see where he's going, and he cannot attack or move while in the process. So might want to do it away from the fighting.
His best way to escape is his Wraith Form. He turns into a cloud of mist, and gets a speed boost for 3 seconds. The youtuber Muselk, has discovered that in the Oasis map, while in Wraith form, you can hop on a car, and not die. While doing this, it is easier to get from the attacker's spawn to the Capture Point.
Finally his ultimate, Death Blossom. He deals 170 DPS (Damage Per Second) while shooting enemies all around him. Unfortunately, this can be stopped with McCree's flashbang, or Roadhog's hook. Here's a video for it.
Now that we got that wrapped around, it's time to see his life in the fandom.
Life in the Fandom
Just like Soldier 76, Reaper has the Talon Family, with him as the father, Sombra as the daughter, and Widowmaker varying form responsible mom, and quiet sister. Still no word from where Doomfist comes in, but I personally think he'd be a great brother to Sombra.
And with that, we end another hero spotlight. Reaper. A shadow, of Gabriel Reyes. He's in there. Somewhere.
