Hi. So a new movie came out called Spiderman : Homecoming and let me share you my thoughts about it. Please note that I am not sure if I can fully talk about this movie because I slept in possibly the most epic part of the movie. Some of this content may also sound like an episode of CinemaSins. |

I generally liked the movie with Spiderman wanting to join the Avengers and a lot of scenes that could be edited out and put in to a high school sitcom or something. But there are a lot of wrong or should I say "Cringe Worthy" things about this movie starting with:
Spiderman's Girlfriend: Why is it that Spiderman has a lot of girlfriends through out the series of movies he stars in. Hey Film Theorists if you are listening make this in to an episode. What is different about Spiderman's GF here is that she has a crush on her and they are younger unlike the previous movie's.
It is very cleche: I feel like the supposed shocking reveal of the main villain being Spiderman's Girlfriend's (do not hate me for forgetting her name) dad was used a lot before. Another thing that is cleche is that Spiderman is having this internal conflict of showing off his awesome superpowers to impress people and promote him from being a loser to a school legend.
Spiderman's best friend isFilipino: Nothing Cringeworthy just it is very noteworthy. Except for the fact that the only representation of us there is a fat person, totally not taking into account the extreme poverty of the Philippines. I have to stop before everybody gets angry.
And Lastly:
Two Ironic scenes: 1st: Someone in the team of brainiacs going to Washington says that he is stupid for thiking that he would be welcomed back with open arms back in the team but then right after it happens.
2nd: Ironman says "If you are nothing without that suit you are not going to have it". My big issue is that Ironman is nothing without his suit either but a multi-billionaire with a mansion and even then he is nothing without money.
