As Luke said in the movie, this post will not
go normally. Star Wars: The Last Jedi is the 8th movie in the Star
Wars franchise, and it’s the longest. Clocking in at 2 hours and 32 mins, it’s
longer than the Supremacy. Some people say this is one of the best Star Wars
movies since The Empire Strikes Back.
One thing I found very disturbing with this
movie was they killed Luke instead of Leia. Given the fact that Carrie Fisher
has passed away, some Star Wars fans were left confused after watching this
movie. What most people found surprising was when the Resistance almost
mirrored the Rebels in The Empire Strikes Back. Both movies had walkers
fighting speeders. Both rebellion figures were obliterated in under 15 mins.
Both had did not have a super weapon. And both movies had some student-teacher scenes.
This movie what somewhat good and somewhat
bad. Over 5,000 people voted for this movie to be removed from the Star Wars
canon. What I liked about this movie was the variety of ships and the amount of
good space battles. What I didn’t like about this movie was the amount of bad
humor and the unexpected death of Admiral Ackbar.
