Top 15 Beyblades

Top 15 Beyblades

Taken from: Youtube

Beyblade, nothing like the sound of my childhood. When I was a kid, I used to have a hella load of beyblabes, and I still do. Takara Tomy made a lot of good beyblades over the years. From the Galaxy Pegagus, to the Hades Kerbecs. Takara Tomy really made Beyblade an iconic part of my childhood. This list is in no particular order.

15 Fang Leone
taken from: Beyblade Wiki

Oh the might Fang Leone. Owned by blader Kyoya (oh the memories), Fang Leone packed a serious punch when it came to its defense. Not only was it an excellent defense type, but it also possessed a second mode, due to it being part of the Metal Fury line. Overall this bey is a very well rounded one, and is sure to help you out when you are in need of a good defense type.

14 Poison Serpent

taken from: eBay

Coming all the way back from 2009 we have Poison Serpent. Owned by the mysterious blader known as Reiji, Poison Serpent was a very competent Stamina type. Possessing those “blades” along its fusion wheel, it was used to cause major damage to opponents. In the anime, the Beyblade was considered a menace, until Gingka beat it to the ground.

13 Beserker Behemoth

taken from beyblade wiki

This time coming from 2014, Beserker Behemoth was a devastating defense type. Owned by Kira, Behemoth was one of two beys that he owned. This bey was used to cause mass fear among bladers whom did not align with the sinister DNA. This bey was used until Kira found a more destructive bey (we’ll get to that bey later)

12 Flame Byxis

taken from beyblade wiki

Introduced in the second series of the Metal Saga, Flame Byxis was the tallest Beyblade out there, until Duo Uranus came around. Owned by Zeo Abyss, this bey was used to outdo and out-balance Masamune’s, Rey Striker. This bey possessed a lot of weaknesses. One of them being it’s extremely long spin track, which gave its opponents a good chance to get a lot of damage on it.

11 Meteo L-Drago

taken from beyblade wiki

Coming again from Metal Masters, Meteo L-Drago was one of the only left-spinning Beyblades. Owned by the sinister Ryuga, this bey was used to test Gingka before his finals match against Julian Kanzern. This bey possessed a quality that is unmatched by any bey, the ability to spin-steal. This is achieved by using the rubber on its energy ring to absorb the rotations of its opponent.

10 Mercury Anubis

taken from beyblade wiki

Coming again from Metal Fury, Mercury Anubis was a very good attack type. Owned by Yuki, this was one of the oly beys that were in Metal Fury that didn’t have its fusion wheel split in two parts. This was an advantage, and a disadvantage. An advantage because it was lighter than most beys in its era. And a disadvantage because it was so light that most of the time, it ended up completely missing its opponent.

9 Kreis Cygnus
taken from beyblade wiki

Ah, Kreis Cygnus. One of the only good balance types. It possessed an upper plade which could be switched between two modes. First in defense mode. And second, in what I call “dodge” mode. It is highly argued that this bey is unbalanced when it comes to its “dodge” mode. This is primarily because of the moving plate, which somehow alters the way the bey is balanced.

8 Flash Sagittario

taken from beyblade wiki

Finally, Kenta gets a good bey. This bey was first introduced in the latter parts of Metal Fury. Aside from having that large spin track as a disadvantage, Flash Sagittario had some traits that countered that big disadvantage. One of them is its fusion wheel, which could switch between two modes. Therefore leading it to have a better balance and stamina.

7 Gravity Perseus

taken from beyblade wiki

More commonly known as Gravity Destroyer, this is another all-around defense type. With its AD145 track, it is practically immune to low ground strikes. With its WD tip, it has decent stamina. Owned by Julian Kanzern, this bey led Team Excalibur in the WBBA World Championship.

6 Cosmic Pegasus

taken from beyblade wiki

If you are looking for a great attack type which can pack a lot of punch, this is a vital bey. With its Final Drive, it gives out one last blast of offence as its centrifugal force starts to go down. This bey is very special. Containing, not one, not two, but three layers of its fusion wheel. Which in turn, gives you a wide variety of modes to choose from.

5 Phantom Orion

taken from beyblade wiki

Oh, this beastly bey still gives me the chills. Phantom Orion is by far, the greatest stamina type to graze the face of Beyblade. That Bering Drive gives it a hella load of stamina to last it a lifetime. Not only does this bey possess stamina, but it also possesses a decent amount of defense up its sleeve.

4 Diablo Nemesis

taken from beyblade wiki

My god, this bey brings back so many memories. Diablo Nemesis was the last thing that Takara Tomy cranked out of its broken down system, before the rise (and fall) of Zero-G. Nemesis brought with it a massive punch. With three tips to choose from, your opponent had much to fear.

3 Gladiator Bahamdia

taken from beyblade wiki

Now, here comes Kira’s second bey. This was (I think) the last bey that Takara Tomy cranked out before the true fall of Beyblade’s glory (*ahem* Burst *ahem*). This bey was Zero-G’s take on a truly monstrous bey. With its beefed up 230 spin track, it was almost impossible to knock this bey off balance. Until you see its Giga Flat tip. That in my opinion is the only thing that kept this bey from being the flat out best

2 Samurai Pegasus

taken from beyblade wiki

Honestly this needs no further explanation because it’s Pegasus baby.

1 Hades Kerbecs

taken from beyblade wiki

Now this is the bey that I have been craving to talk about since this topic was assingned to me by my master (Ki-Adi-Mundi). Hades Kerbecs is hands down one of the best that Takara Tomy have cranked out. This bey was one of the first in its kind. This bey had two modes. Switching its spin track by flipping it was the extremely simple way on how to change its mode.

Well, this has been one hell of a run here at the Loyola Junior Bloggers. I’ve made some good, and some bad articles. From the bottom of my non-existent heart, I would like to thank my masters, Ki-Adi-Mundi and Kit Fisto. This is BananaPankakes, signing off…..
